How To Get There

 

  Motorway A2 bypasses Braunschweig, connecting the western industrial area of the Ruhrgebiet to Berlin.
 
  From the capital, access to the European Athletics Team Championships by train is easy and comfortable.
 
  To the west only about 50 km away, regional capital Hanover offers the closest international airport. From the plane it is just about an hour‘s ride by train to Braunschweig. From Hanover‘s main station, it takes 30 to 45 minutes.
